Room for rent in Montmartre

Never have I ever been so disrespected by a flatmate/landlord as I was by Saleha. She was incredibly unhelpful and rude since Day 1, refusing to change the reservation start date when my visa was delayed and making me pay for 2.5 weeks I was not there for. She said she knew English when I originally booked the reservation (important for me because I am still learning french and wanted to be able to communicate well) but she spoke exclusively to me in French and had no patience for when I did not understand. She had an incredibly complex and contradictory set of rules that she herself broke but would frequently yell at me for forgetting very small nuances. The fridge was full of rotting food (I only had one tiny shelf for my own food) and the cabinets were incredibly disorganized, yet she would get incredibly angry with me for leaving one thing out of place (for reference I am very clean myself and would clean up after myself immediately after cooking always). She required that I clean the whole apartment every 2 weeks (including the tub, floors, etc) despite this never being part of our initial agreement. However, I am not that confrontational of a person and since she said she had been sick, I excused her behavior at first and tried my best to follow her rules, and even bought her new soap, dish detergent, and toilet paper with my own money since they were low in stock when I arrived. But unfortunately this is only the beginning. A week and a half into my stay while I was cooking dinner, she came in and became incredibly aggressive towards me for "making the apartment too hot" despite never having told me before about this being an issue before. She said that I was forbidden to use the oven/stove for the remainder of the week and began to slam doors, shout very disrespectful things toward me, and make me feel genuinely unsafe. I packed my bags and left that night (I was originally supposed to stay for 3 months), yet she was so petty she wouldn't even let me take the toilet paper or soap that I had just bought because it was "Payment for using up her stock" (once again, low stock upon arrival). Do not rent this apartment, Saleha is incredibly disagreeable and it made my first couple of weeks incredibly difficult and stressful. I do not know how she has ever lived with anybody besides herself before and I wonder why she is even on this website to begin with.
